Five Effects for you to enjoy
Back to Back: Performer and a spectator stand BACK TO BACK both holding drawing boards. Spectator begins drawing along with the performer! The spectator draws any object they like and it is unseen by the performer. Yet the performer is still able to duplication their Drawing.
Forgotten Memories: Your spectator is lead on a journey back through time. Traveling past yesterdays and long forgotten memories she finds herself in a past life and standing in the lobby of a busy hotel. There she must choose a room for herself and the man she is to marry. Through a series of unfortunate events, tragedy strikes and she is brought back to the present. There she finds a ghostly written message that appeared on a business card held between her hands.
Focus: Information reveals itself through the scribbling chaos of a spectator. Spectator thinks of a playing card, word or symbol as they stare into their own pencil scribbling. Slowly they become aware of something taking focus. Appearing through the scribbling is the card, word or symbol that they were thinking of.
This routine can be used as great mentalism or a very bizarre routine for a séance. Play it straight or with an evil twist.
Fear Not: A lady writes a fear that she has on your business card. She picks up your pendulum and holds it over the card. The pendulum starts to swing as she imagines her fear vanishing and how it would feel if it was gone. Turning over the card she finds her fear has indeed vanished.
The Draw: A deck of cards is shuffle and placed on the table. A spectator then cuts the deck. The cut to card is shown and let’s say it is a five of clubs. The spectator then counts down five cards from the top of the deck. They remove this card without showing it to anyone. The performer holding a pad of paper and a pen ask the spectator to concentrate of their card. The performer draws on the paper and when the selected card is revealed it matches the performers drawing.
